10 Ways To Instantly Sponsor More Reps Using A Script

ProspectingThe purpose of this blog is to guide you in the right direction towards becoming a more powerful and effective communicator. Our business and the industry is primarily focused on the ability to communicate with others. The more prospects you share your message to and the more you improve in this single area, the better your results will be. Everybody starts with or should start with using a script. The whole purpose of a script is to provide a guide to assist you in saying the right words and to convey your message without forgetting what to say. If you want to take your business to the next level, I encourage you to use this blog as a guide in helping you know the correct things to say, how to say it, and also the right time to say it.

1. Practice, practice, and more practice!

The basis of learning is repetition. Take some time to rehearse your scripts often by going over them aloud and also reading them silently to yourself. It’s also a great idea to practice with new recruits and other associates. The faster you and your team become familiar and comfortable with the content, the more natural sounding and effective it will be. You do not want to sound like a robot or as if you are reading from a sheet of paper. Your goal is to know your entire script by heart, so that you can flow naturally through a conversation with a prospect.

2. Have Fun!

You are branding yourself and people evaluate you before they spend any money on your business or products. Communicate with excitement, enthusiasm, and enjoy what you do. People will pick up on your energy and feel what you feel. They will hear it in your voice and be drawn to every word that you speak.

3. Have Confidence!

We are in the best industry in the world and people are waiting for us to show them another way to live a more abundant life. As previously mentioned, your energy is extremely important. But, how you carry yourself (posture) is of equal, if not greater, significance. How would you rate yourself on the telephone? Would you say you command respect, sound in control and successful? Sometimes, you just might need to get up out of your chair, walk around, or maybe even get out of the office to create the necessary energy.

4. You Have A Great Opportunity To Share – So Act Like It!

You have the ability to change lives in the palm of your hands. You will be talking to people who are tired of going to work day in and day out and looking for another way to address their needs. You have the answer. You know you have the answer. Show them you have the answer and they will follow you!

5. Stay In Control!

Your prospect should not be the one controlling the conversation. You should be asking the questions and getting to know if they are a right match for your business. Remember your first job interview? The person asking the questions is the one in charge. You should be the person in charge. Remember, your prospect is the one looking for a change and they need you. You have the tools available to help them make that change.

6. Don’t Chase After Your Prospects!

Following up is completely different from chasing. The follow up can take your business to a higher level, while hunting down your prospects leads to frustration and an absolute waste of your time. When I first started, I was absolutely guilty of this because I didn’t know any better. I would make calls to people who seemed interested, but for some reason, their phones never seemed to work. Have you experienced this before? The reason this happened was because we were chasing after our prospects. Effective follow ups involve having ongoing conversations with your prospects and leaving messages on their voicemail doesn’t count, hahaha.

7. Pay Close Attention!

The whole purpose of speaking with your prospect is to find out if they are “right” for your business. Listen carefully to what they are telling you. If you ask the right questions and actually listen and take notes, they will tell you exactly what you need to do to recruit them into your business. Paying attention to your prospect also builds rapport and trust, which are essential to the recruiting process. By listening to what is said, you can save a lot of time by quickly moving on to the next person on your list if you are talking to the “wrong” candidate.

8. Treat Your Business As A Business!

The top leaders and earners in the industry are constantly learning about their profession, constantly learning about personal development, and constantly learning how to be successful. Learn from those who are already successful and model what they do. Be like a sponge and soak up everything you can from the leaders to improve your skills, alter your mindset and gain more knowledge about your business.

9. Stay Involved And “Plugged In”!

One of the greatest things you can do to reach your goals is to stay plugged in to the leaders and producers of your company. The more time you invest in being actively involved, the more likely your success will be! Lean on your leadership for support and assistance to help you understand what to do and how to do it. Your leadership is there to assist you in growing and developing your team, but not to do it for you!

10. Just Smile!

Whether on the phone with your prospects or speaking with them face to face, there is a positive and powerful energy that a smile can bring to any conversation. We want people to have fun with their business and enjoy all that it has to offer. Sound like you are having fun and having the time of your life! Then, you’ll find yourself attracting people just like you and recruiting them into your business.
